Eye-BERT MicroX - Spectronix

The Eye-BERT MicroX is a compact, easy to use test solution offering high performance bit error rate testing at a fraction of the cost of competing solutions.  The unit is offered in two speed grades including the X10 which operates up to 14.5Gbps, and the X30 which extends the data rate to 29Gbps.  Its broad data rate capabilities and long test patterns make this unit suitable for testing nearly all optical SFP, SFP+, and SFP28 transceivers in production with just one unit. The real-time eye opening monitor and eye scanning capability can aid in troubleshooting by providing the operator with additional link quality information.  Other features include Autonomous pattern detection, SFP diagnostic tools, and wavelength tuning (per transceiver capability).  With a click of a button the Eye-BERT MicroX will automatically test an SFP module based on its advertised capabilities and generate a detailed test report complete with manufacturer, part number, serial number, date code, fiber type, link length, speed, and test results.  The Unit is supplied with anti-skid bumpers and is small enough to be integrated into larger systems for dedicated link verification.

Designed to be used with the Model HVST High Voltage Surge tester. The Surge Current Monitor allows simultaneously surge testing 20 units. The Surge Current Monitor monitors the current going through each unit under test at the time of the surge. If a unit under test breaks down or leaks, the Surge Current Monitor will identify the bad unit by lighting the corresponding LED. The most important features of the surge tester are its ability to test the entire winding insulation system. A high voltage surge generates turn to turn, coil to coil, and phase to phase voltage stress, as well as ground insulation stress. When used as a dielectric test, accurate voltage readings are essential. The HV Surge Tester monitors the voltage directly across the winding under test. In production testing we expect that most of the time the devices will pass. In the event that one should fail, the failed device would be removed and then all the parts would have ot undergo another surge test. Since most devices pass most of the time, simultaneous surge testing can be a real time saver.

The EVd-40 Power Tester is a pre- and post-reconditioning tool for quality control of aftermarket HEV & EV battery production. The equipment integrates a “smart” charger (Sorensen XG 1700 or Kepco KLN 1500W) with NuVant Systems high power discharge electronics. The "power test" discharges battery packs at high power (10,000 watts), while tracking module voltages. The software monitors up to 40 module voltages at a time, identifying any weak modules. The QCBOX Model 5 is a non-conventional unit designed to fulfil actual and future needs of an electro-acoustical analyzer like the CLIO system. It is USB linked to a PC and can be configured, with dedicated software controls, to assist frequency response and impedance measurements or to perform DC measurements. Using it for frequency response measurements acts as 50W power amplifier to drive the speaker or network under test while routing one-of-four inputs to the analyzer as well the current sensing output. The four inputs are able to provide a phantom power supply both for Audiomatica or general purpose microphones (0-24 V range, software controlled). Impedance measurements can be done either switching the D.U.T.’s load across the analyzer’s input or using a dedicated output, ISENSE, thus allowing impedance measurements in constant voltage mode as well voice coil current distortion analysis. An internal ADC measures the DC current into the voice coil. Thanks to an internal software controlled voltage generator the speaker can be driven with a superimposed DC voltage (±20V), allowing for measurements of large signal parameters. Two ADC converters with a ±2.5 V and ±5 V are available at inputs 3 and 4 to measure the displacement with a laser sensor or any other DC signal. A dedicated digital input handles an external foot pedal switch (or TTL signal) to be connected and triggers QC operations. A 6 bit output – 5 bit input TTL digital port is available to interface the QCBOX and driving software with external hardware (like turntables for example).The QCBOX Model 5 finds use both in laboratory for R&D applications and in production lines setups.
